Ben Maurey brings a wealth of experience as both a high-level player and coach, with a proven track record of developing talent and elevating team performance. With years of individual coaching under his belt, Ben now focuses on creating a winning mindset while maintaining his commitment to technical excellence and player development.

He has coached and trained players across top youth programs, including Phoenix Rising’s ECNL and MLS Next teams and the FC Barcelona Academy USA. Ben’s individualized training approach has helped more than 10 athletes reach NCAA Division I and III college programs, and he continues to work closely with elite players across all levels.

As a player, Ben competed at the NCAA Division I level at Brown University, where he captained the team for two years and earned First Team All-Ivy honors as well as NCAA Player of the Week. He went on to play at Indiana University, participated in the 2016 MLS Draft, and gained experience with several top USL League Two sides, including Ventura County Fusion, Ocean City Nor’easters, Des Moines Menace, and Western Mass Pioneers.

Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Brown University, a Master’s in Biotechnology, and completed Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Specialized Studies, bringing a unique academic lens to his training approach that emphasizes both physical and cognitive performance.
